About Timothy

He is the principal and founder of Greenstone Architecture, PLLC. He is an NCARB Certified Architect Licensed in Washington State and Oregon, and is additionally a LEED Accredited Professional. He is a graduate of Washington State University (graduating Cum Laude) with a Bachelor of Architecture, and Bachelor of Science in Architecture. He is also a graduate of Leadership Clark County.

 

Timothy worked for over twelve years with one of Southwest Washington’s largest architectural firms, ultimately as an Associate Architect. He left to pursue his dream of  founding Greenstone Architecture.

 

Recognized as an expert in green building, Timothy is known for his creativity and passionate focus on environmentally and fiscally responsible design. His clients also attest to his attentiveness, sensitivity, and enthusiasm. 

 

 

Timothy has been a guest presenter at Washington State University and Clark College on both the architectural process and sustainable design, and has acted as moderator for several sustainability forums.  

 

Timothy is also dedicated to professional and civic service. He was unanimously elected to the State of Washington American Institute of Architects (AIA) Washington Council as Vice-president and President Elect, and he has also been recognized for years of service on the Washington Council as a Political representative, and as Past-President of the Vancouver Washington AIA Component. He also serves on the AIA Sustainable Design Resource Group

 

He is a Southwest Washington Red Cross Board member, and also is an active Vancouver Rotary Club member serving as the Vocational Service Director, and Co-Chair of the Scholarship Committee. Other recent activities include acting as the Chair serving the City of Vancouver Design Review Committee.

 

Timothy is working on obtaining his three gallon pin for whole blood donations to the Red Cross.

 

He can sometimes be found hunched over a chess board, hitting a golf ball, or gently releasing a trout caught while casting a barbless fly in one of our many beautiful streams.
